Improving Texas Soil Ecosystem

 Texas is a beautiful State. 

I have small backyard,  I am keeping more garden soil mixed with various soils, more earth worm castings, adding more compost mixes,  keeping multiple layers of  mowed grass mixing with soil and watering to needed level to improve the soil quality and proving small ecosystem to survive.  Keeping many plants.   however the  summer is still very challenging.  it needs constant attention.

 As the global warming is raising, it is important to keep steps to improve the ecosystem ecosystem and soil quality.  Texas soil contains more lime stones and soil contains more clay soil which get tightened and does not allow water to go to the ground in Summer or later in raining season. 

Let us segregate few areas 

1.  Keep shades for the plants in summer :  

How can we keep the soil surface cool.  One is to keep more compost of leaves in the soil.  Keep more plants to cover soil surface.    

Plant more nitrogen fixing plants like Beans etc.

Planting more big trees to create Shade.  Every near footpaths, community borders,  empty lands ,    any We should plant more trees in any empty possible places.   Some areas Big trees to transfer more oxygen and water vapour

Keep the  More solar panels :  This will help to give shade and cool the surface .  This also help to generate more electric power  and can be utilized further actions

2. Collect Vegetable waste,  grind it  or powdery  mix with compost bacteria's and  keep on top of the soil layer .  This will help to  improve quality and mix of soil where other ecosystem can grow.

Atleast every 5 acre land should have one big  water pool or provide facility so that water can be filled during raining season.   This will also help to energize earth.   We should create these water pools more near areas of forest, so that animals can get more water. 

When more plants and water can create more transformation , many small organisms started growing , which can be food more many other and many new compounds will be formed, which can thrive  the living organisms and able to stabilize and save the future of the world and humanity.

More earth worms,  Mix soil for aeration.   more rain water harvesting for energizing earth by keeping small well of 10*10 ft in every home. 

I believe each community needs to take steps  for each Square acre area.  

Getting Water :

1. Providing Artificial waterholes in many areas

2.  Getting filtered sea water through pipeline or though small steams or  establish a small tunnel to get underground water line.  

(eg) getting filtered water line from Houston or Corpus Christi sea line to Austin and fill one artificial lake which can be used for water for plants or irrigation.

Help society and volunteer for Soil conservation actions.

Plant trees in empty lands, dry areas, forests.  

Provide water for Birds, Animals
